But, I waited too long to purchase my tickets. I think I was waiting for my wife to confirm the days I planned to go to the festival, but it's unfair to blame her. I just waited too long. It was sold out.
Then I was supposed to go an advanced screening of Twinless tomorrow night before it releases the following Thursday. This time I got the tickets and I was all set to attend.
Enter my wife again. Again not her fault, or not really, though blaming her would be slightly more justified this time. I told her I'd be going to a screening that night, but I didn't put it in the calendar, so, my bad. She's going out to dinner with her friends that night.
I'm wondering if I should now just, on principle, never see the movie.
It does have an interesting premise though: Two men attend a support group for twins who have lost an identical twin, and develop a relationship. (Platonic, I believe.) Hey, I'm sure such a thing exists out there. Anyway, strange and I think funny things ensue, as I'm sure they become each other's proxy twins.
I'll see it, I just don't know when at this point, and if I dare to predict that, God will just laugh at me some more.
